The Lead People Business Partner (Change Projects) at Pinnacle Pets UK will lead the people workstream for large-scale change initiatives, including TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment) transitions, as well as managing other organisational change projects such as departmental restructures.

In this pivotal role, you will provide both strategic and operational HR expertise to ensure seamless transfers, optimise organisational structures, and drive successful change outcomes, all while maintaining high employee engagement and ensuring full legal compliance.

Collaborating closely with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering our people plans for these transformations, aligning them with Pinnacle Pets UK's business objectives.

What we look for in you!

  • TUPE Knowledge: In-depth understanding of TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment) regulations, processes, and legal requirements for both inbound and outbound transfers.
  • Organisational Design: Significant experience in workforce planning, organisational structure design, resource optimisation and implementation of restructures.
  • Change Management: Strong grasp of change management principles, tools, and methodologies to ensure smooth transitions and successful project outcomes.
  • Employment Law: Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and regulations, particularly regarding redundancies, restructuring, and consultation requirements.
  • Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead large-scale HR change projects, manage timelines and deliverables while balancing competing priorities.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Expertise in managing multiple stakeholders across senior leadership, legal teams, unions, and employee representatives.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to assess workforce impacts, identify risks, and create actionable strategies to address challenge
  • Consultation Expertise: Skilled in leading consultation processes, facilitating discussions, and addressing concerns transparently and effectively.
  • Employee Engagement: Strong ability to communicate complex changes in an accessible, engaging manner, maintaining employee trust and morale.
  • Collaboration: Strong aptitude for working cross-functionally with teams, including legal, finance, operations, and internal communications
  • Managerial Support: Capability to coach and guide managers through organisational changes, providing tools and frameworks for success.

Technical And Analytical Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to create project plans, reports, and presentations.
  • HR Systems and Tools: Proficient in HR systems for data analysis and project tracking.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Ability to leverage data to inform decision-making, track progress, and identify trends or risks.
