Job Description

The successful candidate will have a Associate or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience and 3+ years of hands on HR, Recruiting and ideally some accounting experience related to payroll. The candidate should be self-driven, motivated and well organized.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of general HR experience.
  • 3+ years of IT recruiting experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with accounting as it relates to processing payroll.
  • 2+ years of Information Technology (IT) recruiting experience.
  • Working knowledge of HR practice related regulations.
  • HR Certification preferred (SHRM or PHR).
  • Highly motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to communicated schedules and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and/or within a team setting with minimal supervision required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both spoken and written.
  • Mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Positive, goal-oriented attitude.
  • Assist with the documentation for annual audit preparation.
  • Excellent MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Performs general HR tasks.
  • Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency.
  • Perform recruitment process, including posting job ads, vetting candidates, assisting with interviews, and issuing employment contracts.
  • Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications.
  • Conducting I-9 verification process.
  • Working with counsel on H1B and GC paperwork for new and existing employees.
  • Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department.
  • Compiling and maintaining employee records, including holiday and PTO.
  • Making sure that employee and contractor timesheets have been submitted for payroll.
  • Assisting Accounting Department with processing payroll and assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits.
  • Assisting Accounting Department with other accounting tasks.
  • Coordinating logistics for new hire onboarding.
  • Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities.
  • Perform Recruiting Responsibilities: posting positions, recruiting, interviewing, hiring onboarding/offboarding & all record keeping functions that fall within the onboarding/offboarding process.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) ownership of the internal (Human Capital Management) HCM systems and processes.
