We are seeking an experienced and strategic Commercial Finance Manager to join our client's fast-growing team, serving as a key partner to the President and cross-functional leadership. This individual will play a critical role in shaping financial operations and driving business success. The ideal candidate brings expertise from the alcoholic beverages industry and thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. This is a remote role, with travel as needed, requiring proximity to a major U.S. airport.
Primary Responsibilities
- Problem Solving: Analyze complex business challenges and develop actionable solutions to support growth and profitability.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage detailed budgets and forecasts to ensure financial accuracy and support strategic planning.
- Route-to-Market (RTM) Management: Partner with sales and marketing teams to optimize RTM strategies and drive efficiencies.
- Accounting: Oversee financial reporting and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely execution of accounting functions.
- Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with operations to optimize supply chain processes and cost efficiencies.
- Pricing: Develop pricing models and strategies to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Consumer Insights Analysis: Utilize market and consumer data to inform strategic decisions and financial planning.
- Systems Management: Leverage tools such as VIP or other financial and operational systems to improve data accuracy and accessibility.
- Production Support: Collaborate with production teams to align financial planning with operational goals and timelines.
Key Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in financial roles within the alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage or food industries.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and financial problem-solving in a commercial context.
- Strong understanding of RTM strategies and supply chain operations.
- Proficient in financial systems and tools (e.g., VIP) and the ability to analyze consumer and market data effectively.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to tackling challenges in a fast-paced environment.
