Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to drive business insights through data-driven decision-making. As a key member of our team, you'll analyze complex data sets, develop reports and dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders to inform strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Analyze large datasets, identify trends and insights, and create actionable recommendations.
• Develop and maintain databases, data warehouses and data visualizations.
• Design and implement data mapping, mockups and process flows.

Technical Skills

• Write complex SQL queries and joins to extract insights from databases.
• Create tables and reports in Excel.
• Develop and maintain BI dashboards (Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, SSRS).

Collaboration and Communication

• Communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Gather requirements and feedback from end-users.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst and bachelor's degree (or 7+ years of experience without a degree).
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare, specifically with Medicare data (raw claim files).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in SQL, data mapping and data warehousing.
• Experience with BI tools (Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, SSRS).
• Strong Excel skills.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python, Salesforce or SharePoint.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
