We are currently seeking an HR & Retention Manager to join our HR and Operations team. This role is crucial in building and scaling our HR functions across Eastern European countries.
The HR & Retention Manager will take a hands-on approach to provide essential human resources support to our EU team members and clients. This position is vital for executing our people initiatives, delivering excellent internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Responsibilities include assisting with various HR tasks such as new-hire onboarding, maintaining employee records, and providing general administrative support to the HR team. The HR & Retention Manager will report to the Global Head of HR and Operations and work collaboratively with other members of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Working as an integral part of the TurnKey HR and Operations team, contributing to the company’s strategy and attending regular HR team and Company meetings
- Closely working with employees (conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings), identifying and anticipating conflicts, resolving difficult situations, maintaining an overall positive atmosphere in the teams
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with employees to deliver the best HR services and demonstrate a collaborative and proactive approach to solving people issues
- Coordinate and administer day-to-day employee life cycle functions including on-boarding, off-boarding, adaptation and orientation programs
- Collaborate with clients to deliver exceptional service in response to their needs, conduct quarterly HR meetings, and serve as an HR advisor for both clients and their teams
- HR Administration: maintaining personnel information and other HR-related documents according to the country region. Keep up-to-date HR database. Work with HRIS
- Developing and implementing different HR initiatives for the EU region
- Closely working with the HR team members in organizing client events (online, offline if needed), workshops, team buildings, etc
- Creation of new presentations or update existing presentations as needed as well as maintaining HR Notion space up to date
- Work/Collaborate with Core team from different regions, work in a multicultural environment
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or a related field will be a plus
- Ideally 3 years of human resources functions experience. Experience in tech companies will be a plus
- Advanced level of English
- Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with HRIS
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite and Notion, and other applications
- Strong time management skills and ability to complete tasks efficiently
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing workload
- Good level of emotional intelligence
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects independently and simultaneously, be well-organized
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
