Role Description

This is a flexible, self-managed Home Chef role based in all Australia. As a Home Chef with E-Mycook, you’ll have the freedom to create and serve your own dishes, work from home, and connect directly with nearby food lovers through the app. You'll be responsible for preparing high-quality, homemade meals, managing your own kitchen, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Register as a home-based cook with your local council
• Obtain a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (guidance provided)
• Prepare meals from your home kitchen based on your unique recipes
• Accept orders via the E-Mycook app and manage communications with customers
• Coordinate delivery or pickup of meals
• Get paid directly to your bank account
• Build your reputation through customer reviews and ratings

Qualifications

• Strong culinary skills (cooking, baking, food prep)
• Experience with meal planning and recipe development
• Attention to kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Previous experience as a home cook or professional chef preferred
• A genuine passion for cooking and delighting others with food
