Position Overview The Data Entry Associate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining critical company data. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage large datasets with a high degree of accuracy. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting a team through data management. Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry: Input and update data into company systems, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Data Verification: Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all discrepancies are addressed promptly.
  • Database Management: Maintain organized and accessible records, both electronic and physical, and ensure proper categorization of all data.
  • Data Cleansing: Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in data and work to improve data quality over time.
  • Reporting: Generate and assist in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports, pulling relevant data from various sources as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as customer service, finance, and operations, to ensure data integrity and cross-functional accuracy.
  • Document Management: Organize and maintain documentation related to data entry processes, ensuring adherence to company standards and compliance guidelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements in data entry processes and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in data entry, administrative roles, or similar positions is preferred but not required.
  • Typing Speed: Fast and accurate typing skills with a minimum of 50-60 words per minute.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accuracy in all data-related tasks.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace. Experience with CRM software or database management systems is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while staying focused on repetitive tasks.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and processes in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with large datasets or databases.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting or financial data entry.
  • Familiarity with data validation and data-cleansing techniques.
  • Experience with data entry software or systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms.
