Junior Software Engineer – £35,000 – VISA Sponsorship Provided - Fully Remote (UK-based) | Fintech Payments Leader
We are hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established fintech company based in London that specializes in Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solutions. This company has been revolutionizing the payments industry for over 10 years, offering flexible payment options that empower consumers. This fully remote role provides the chance to work with cutting-edge technology in an exciting sector, with only one office visit a month for team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
· Build, maintain, and test scalable web applications and fintech payment solutions.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and release new features.
· Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance.
· Engage in code reviews and collaborate to improve development practices.
· Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and fintech industry trends.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
· Experience with web frameworks (e.g., Django, React, Node.js) and RESTful APIs.
· Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
