Overview:

We are hiring a Governance and Risk Compliance Analyst for a 6-month remote contract based in Poland. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in IT compliance and risk management, with a strong understanding of control monitoring, audit support, and industry frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:Control Monitoring & Compliance

• Review evidence submissions to ensure they meet control requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing compliance documentation.
• Generate reports on compliance status and highlight issues for management.
• Communicate potential compliance concerns and propose mitigation strategies.
• Follow up with control owners to ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Perform additional compliance-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in IT compliance, governance, and risk management.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with standards/frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, or ITIL.
• Ability to identify risks and control gaps in complex IT environments.
• Experience resolving IT policy exceptions and improving control environments.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Project management experience with a focus on execution and reporting.
• Certifications like CISA, CISM, or CRISC are a plus.
• Collaborative and adaptable in dynamic IT environments.
