We're on the hunt for a new Senior HR Advisor for our local HR team. Our new teammate will provide a full, professional and confidential HR support service to the Company, seen as back-up to Talent Business Partner. The Senior Hr Advisor will provide support to other offices if required and will work closely with other HR Specialist teams in the delivery of key HR programs, products or services. As part of our team, your main responsibilities will be :

  • Supporting Talent Partner team with delivery of HR objectives and through the entire employee lifecycle.
  • To ensure global HR programs are consistent across the business while accommodating local differences.
  • Acting as ‘face of HR’ for 1 st line HR queries (including simple disciplinary and employee relations questions), researching and answering where possible, escalating where not.
  • Providing general administrative support to the function including investigation meeting attendance and taking accurate and concise notes/minutes.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements for managing employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring compliance. Partner with HR colleagues and the legal department as needed .
  • Preparing employee communications (including letters and contracts) so that the correct information is included in an easy to understand format. Initiate and complete pre-employment screening
  • Conduct exit interviews, collaborate with HR People Insights to analyze data, and develop strategies to improve retention
  • Maintaining hard copy and electronic employee records and data to assist the delivery of a best-in-class HR service.
  • To Input, maintain and update employee information on the HRIS (Ceridian DayForce)
  • To update job knowledge by keeping current with regulations and accepted practices; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks and sharing findings across function to ensure on-going delivery improvement.
  • To Support Payroll process as required.
  • To Deliver local onboarding and training to new and existing employees to give an understanding of legal requirements and internal standards
  • To Assist Talent Business Partner in supporting/implementing engagement actions in accordance with global initiatives

You’ll need to bring : 

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced HR function, able to deal with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities
  • Exposure to key HR Disciplines – Talent Management, Reward, Employee Relations, Onboarding – and experience and confidence in discussing these and collaborating with line managers
  • Advanced MS Office skills, with the ability to analyze and record data accurately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter that is detail orientated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team player with a “can do attitude” who contributes to the overall success of the department.
  • Ability to maintain confidentially at all times.
  • A professional attitude and the interpersonal skills to deal effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
