RSB - Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials is seeking a passionate and experienced HR & Administration Manager to lead our HR and administrative functions in support of our global team and organisational goals. This is a home-office position based in Germany, Spain, or the UK, and applicants must already possess a valid work permit for their respective country. Your Role As RSB's HR & Administration Manager, you will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring our organisation operates efficiently. You will work closely with the leadership team and report directly to the Legal & Operations Associate Director to implement the organisation's team culture strategy in alignment with the overall mission and objectives. The position's responsibilities include: HR Administration Management

  • Managing payroll, time tracking, and HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Engaging with social insurance institutions, as needed
  • Supporting travel arrangements for the team, booking flights and accommodation
  • Ensuring smooth functioning of the organisation's office in Geneva by remotely supervising related processes
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the team's queries and concerns, offering guidance on internal policies and up-to-date applicable regulations.
  • Facilitating recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure new team members are integrated smoothly into the organisation
  • Managing team organisational policies and procedures for smooth operations.

HR IT Management

  • Maintaining and improving IT tools and apps to efficiently deliver the organisation's goals, ensure effective communication, and manage knowledge accross the team
  • Implementing and monitoring measures to ensure IT security accross the team
  • Managing IT hardware, software and service procurement, administration and maintenance

Talent Management

  • Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract new team members aligned with the organisation's values and mission.
  • Fostering a positive and collaborative working culture through team engagement programs and initiatives.
  • Managing and supporting human resources strategies for performance management, capacity planning, and professional development
  • Promote equity, diversity and inclusion within the organisation.
  • Supporting the organisation of internal team events

RequirementsAbout You We are looking for an individual based in Germany, Spain, or the UK who has a solid HR & Administration background and a strong passion for sustainability. Required - Education, Experience, And Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in HR & Administration management, preferably in international or non-governmental organisations
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and applicable regulations (e.g. national and international employment regulations)
  • Proficient spoken and written English
  • Proficient in modern HR management tools, HRIS, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Valid work permit for Germany, Spain, or the UK

  • Experience with specific HR software (e.g. BambooHR, Workable, etc.)
  • Experience with additional software (e.g. Nifty, TravelPerk, Grammarly, etc.)
  • Proficiency in an additional language

Important Information

  • Location: Home Office located in Germany, Spain, or the UK
  • Position type: Full-time or part-time, between 30-40 hours weekly
