Please note: This is a full-time, Independent Contractor role and not a contractual position. We invite all those applicants who are looking for a long-term commitment and not a contract. As an Sales Executive - Agri Commodities, you will be responsible for: Managing and driving international sales activities within the company while reporting to a Senior Commercial Executive in the team. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of developing strategies to improve sales, effectively handling buyer's inquiries, and continuously meeting sales targets. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth
  • Identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, buyers, partnerships, products, and services
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and buyers relationships
  • Handle buyer inquiries promptly and effectively
  • Ensure the delivery of our products in accordance with buyer timelines
  • Reach out to buyer leads through cold calling, networking, and social media
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of proven international commodity sales experience
  • Thorough knowledge of pulses, nuts, grains, spices, dried fruits, oilseeds, animal feed, sugar, starch, coffee, animal proteins, marine proteins
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with buyers
  • Advanced level of oral and written communication in English is mandatory to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region
