Competitive Intelligence Consultant

My client is a leading provider of business intelligence and consulting services in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. They are seeking a highly motivated Consultant or Senior Consultant to join their team, focusing on competitive intelligence within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. This role requires a self-starting individual who can develop relationships with various sources to generate unique clinical and commercial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with diverse sources to gather and analyze clinical and commercial data, providing actionable insights to inform client strategies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders to enhance information flow and intelligence gathering.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations that translate complex data into clear, client-specific solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
• Contribute to the development of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques to enhance service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of two years of practical experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry.
• Excellent communication, research, and writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Willingness and ability to travel globally as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degrees (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MBA) are preferred.
• Prior experience executing competitive intelligence projects across various clinical and commercial domains.
• Proficiency in conducting primary interviews and gathering firsthand insights.
• Ability to learn and adapt to multiple new therapeutic areas.
