We are seeking a passionate and purpose-driven Manager, Corporate Affairs to enhance our investor relations, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement efforts. This role will directly report to the Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs. This role will also work closely with the VP of Capital Markets, Chief Finance Officer and other corporate executives to refine messaging, manage key relationships, and strengthen our presence in the capital markets and broader industry ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of producing high-quality content, engaging stakeholders, and leveraging data-driven insights. They should have a heart for helping others, a strong passion for learning, and a drive to contribute to the broader crypto and semiconductor community.
Key Responsibilities
Investor & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Support engagement with investors, analysts, and industry partners, ensuring clear and effective communication of company strategy, performance, and vision.
- Work with third parties to monitor and support retail IR campaign marketing efforts.
Corporate Messaging & Communications:
- Assist in drafting and reviewing investor presentations, press releases, and other corporate materials, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic narrative.
- Update materials to align with earnings releases and adapt presentations for specific occasions.
- Explore and coordinate joint marketing programs with executives and media teams of U.S.-based and/or publicly listed customers.
Social Media & Content Distribution:
- Provide updates on important corporate progress from an investor relations perspective for review by the Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs and circulation among external investors and stakeholders.
- Assist the Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs in managing her social media presence, including content drafting, scheduling, and engagement tracking.
Content Creation & Media Production:
- Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations, visual assets, and short-form videos to support investor relations, corporate communications, and marketing efforts.
Industry & Market Analysis:
- Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to inform investor relations and corporate positioning.
- Perform basic data analysis, extracting insights from financial reports, market data, and operational metrics to support investor materials and executive decision-making.
Roadshow, Government & Trade Association Coordination:
- Support planning and execution of investor meetings, non-deal roadshows, industry conferences, earnings calls, and media engagements.
- Assist business teams in maintaining relationships in support of our businesses, in particular, our Bitcoin mining activities, with corporations, government agencies, trade associations, and public policy forums, at both federal and state level.
- Attend trade shows and other events and maintain vendor relationships.
Public Speaking & Executive Support:
- Support the VP of Capital Markets and other executives in preparing for public speeches and presentations, ensuring clarity, impact, and alignment with corporate messaging.
Meeting Support & Documentation:
- Take detailed notes during meetings, track action items, and follow up on deliverables to ensure smooth execution of corporate affairs initiatives.
- Manage calendars of team members when traveling as needed.
Reputation Management:
- Monitor sentiment from investors and the broader market, providing insights to refine corporate communications and relationship strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work across departments—including finance, operations, and legal—to ensure consistency in external messaging and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in investor relations, corporate affairs, financial communications, or related fields. Candidates with fewer years of experience but strong qualifications will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, financial reporting, and industry dynamics.
- A heart for helping others and a passion for contributing to the wider crypto and/or semiconductor community.
- Interest in learning new skills and staying up to date with emerging industry trends.
- Experience working with investor relations or corporate affairs teams, ideally in the crypto, semiconductor, or technology sectors.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, media production, and data analytics.
- Experience managing corporate or executive social media accounts, with a strong grasp of digital communications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and technical information into clear messaging.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to take effective meeting notes and track follow-ups.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with investors, analysts, and key industry stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and execution.
