The Role

We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join our remote team. You will help build and maintain robust, secure, and scalable cloud environments aligned with the Well-Architected Framework. You’ll work across multiple cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI) and collaborate with internal teams to ensure infrastructure reliability, automation, and compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Provide Linux, VM, and Citrix support
• Create and improve automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell)
• Contribute to networking support and work closely with Security teams
• Support infrastructure incident resolution, ticketing, and project delivery
• Ensure all systems are patched, secure, and monitored effectively
• Participate in on-call/out-of-hours support when needed (with proper compensation)
• Maintain accurate inventories of hardware/software in hosting environments

What We’re Looking ForMust-Have Qualifications & Certifications

• ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation
• One of: AZ-900 or AWS Foundation certification
• Terraform Associate certification
• Puppet 206 or Terraform Advanced

Desirable

• OCI experience
• Vocational or degree-level qualification in IT or a related field

Skills & ExperienceEssential Skills

• Strong scripting and infrastructure automation knowledge
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI)
• Working knowledge of virtualization (VMware), SAN, ADFS, and SQL
• Experience supporting networking, firewalls, and enterprise IT infrastructure
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability

Bonus Skills

• Experience with VMware Site Recovery Manager
• Familiarity with helpdesk processes and Remedyforce or similar ticketing systems
