Job Overview:

As a Graphic Designer, you'll be responsible for designing impactful visual identities and creative campaigns to elevate our clients' brands and attract their target audience. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the creative team to ideate, develop, and execute creative solutions that allow BuildWitt and our clients to solve the Dirt World's biggest problems.

That process starts with you and 2-3 other team members leading and facilitating in-person brand or employer-brand workshops with clients and key stakeholders. Traveling overnight to locations across the U.S., you will dive deep into understanding our client companies’ cultures and the specific challenges they face. With insights gained during the workshop, and collaboration with the creative team, you'll be responsible for developing a variety of creative assets and presenting these to the client throughout the process.

Under the guidance of our Creative Director, you'll collaborate closely with our team of art directors, copywriters, web designers, photographers, videographers, and project managers to produce deliverables that serve our clients’ goals. Creative deliverables you're responsible for include, but aren't limited to:

  • Visual Brand Identity
    • Mood Boards
    • Logos
    • Type Systems
    • Color Palettes
    • Ancillary Graphics
  • Brand Guidelines

Above all, you'll bring exceptional design skills to every aspect of your work, turning complex ideas into powerful visuals that connect with target audiences. Your attention to detail is unmatched, and you communicate effectively to manage client interactions while working collaboratively to keep projects moving toward the highest-quality end results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, responding to internal messages/slack and emails quickly
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Ability to reprioritize quickly among tight deadlines and frequently shifting priorities

Soft Skills:

  • You have fun at work. You're excited to build trust and relationships with the people on and adjacent to your team
  • You understand and appreciate that being a part of an early-stage company means hard work and wearing multiple hats when needed
  • You're capable of offering, accepting, and acting upon feedback and criticism with empathy

  • You're highly disciplined and self-motivated, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
