Software Engineering internship in SaaS Startup (full-time / remote)

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will join our young, talented and multi-national development team as a full-fledged member. You will take ownership of one of the hot topics in our internal tool stack, conduct research, implement a solution and ensure that it creates value for our dev team on a daily basis. • We write most of our code in Node.js, supported by cutting-edge tools like co-pilot
• We use a modern CI/CD pipeline built with Github Actions
• We run our applications on the latest PaaS technology

We're seeking a talented individual to join us remotely, engaging primarily in English. Tasks

• Research: We want you to contribute on our internal tool stack. Make research about the latest and greates technologies, carefully consider their pros and cons and present your proposed solution to the engineering team.
• Engage with the team: Build relations with team members to quickly gain knowledge of the company, our product and the technology stack. We work as a team and share both victories and failures.
• Insights into Product & Software Development: Gain valuable insights into the software development lifecycle. Learn to use our modern tool stack and gain experience with our best practices for shipping working software fast.
• Implement your solution: Take ownership of your task, implement a prototype, iteratively extend it to a production-ready solution and proactively identify areas for improvement and innovation. Minimum Duration: 3 Months

Requirements

• Student in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a related field.
• Good coding skills. We do not ask that you are proficient in a specific language, but you should be fluent in one modern programming language and well-versed in the basic concepts of programming.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English is required.
