This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.Job Description

We’re seeking a talented Product Designers with a strong focus on UX research to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll work directly with product teams, internal stakeholders, and customers, helping to shape the design direction of both existing and future product areas. Your expertise in research and design practices will be crucial in driving user-centered improvements that resonate with our users.

Day To Day

  • Conducting and facilitating UX research activities, including planning, interviews, and thematic analysis.
  • Collaborating in design workshops with customers, stakeholders, and product teams to uncover pain points and design meaningful solutions.
  • Synthesizing research findings into actionable insights that inform product strategy and UX direction.
  • Advocating for user-centric design within the organization and guiding stakeholders on UX improvements.
  • Utilising qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to explore customer needs and drive value-driven design.

About You

  • Driven by a deep curiosity to understand customer needs, challenges, and behaviors.
  • A critical thinker with the ability to connect research insights to product strategy.
  • A creative communicator who can articulate ideas clearly and engage stakeholders with compelling stories.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in product research within agile product teams.
  • Proficiency in UX research activities and the ability to synthesize research into actionable items.
  • Experience leading or participating in design workshops with customers, product teams, and stakeholders.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools like Confluence, Jira, Optimal Workshop, Dovetail, Miro, and Figma.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Research, Design, or a related field
