The Role As a Lead Designer at Brightscout, you embody the pinnacle of leadership and creativity, guiding our design team to deliver exceptional branding, app development, and digital design projects. ResponsibilitiesDesign Execution

• Craft innovative visual design solutions for a variety of digital projects, such as website interfaces, mobile applications, and digital marketing assets.
• Generate impactful illustrations and visualizations that enhance storytelling, communicate complex ideas simply, and engage users emotionally.
• Translate brand strategies and user requirements into visually appealing designs that provide an intuitive user experience.
• Collaborate with UX designers, project managers, and developers to ensure visual designs are in harmony with usability, accessibility standards, and web technologies.
• Keep up with industry trends and advancements in design tools, integrating new techniques and software to maintain leading-edge visual output.

Brand Consistency

• Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms, maintaining a cohesive visual language that adheres to brand guidelines.
• Aid in the development and refinement of brand guidelines, including typography, color schemes, iconography, and imagery standards.

Collaboration and Communication

• Engage in design critiques, offering and receiving constructive feedback to refine and elevate designs.
• Effectively communicate design visions and rationales to team members and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.

Design Innovation

• Push creative boundaries to produce innovative and visually striking experiences that captivate and delight users.
• Explore and incorporate emerging design trends and technologies into projects, enhancing visual storytelling and user engagement.

Requirements

• +10 years of experience in design, with a significant portion in a leadership role within a branding, app development, or digital agency.
• A robust portfolio that demonstrates your expertise across a broad range of design disciplines, including digital.
• Proficiency in leading design software and project management tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Notion, Jira, and Slack.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, with continued education or certifications. While a degree is preferred, significant professional experience in a design-related field will also be considered.
• An exceptional eye for detail and aesthetics, ensuring the delivery of superior design quality.
• Creative thinking ability to justify design choices with rational arguments based on user needs and business objectives.
• Openness to new tools and workflows, embracing ongoing learning and development within the design field.
• Ability to incorporate feedback, demonstrating a commitment to personal growth and design excellence.
