Position Summary The Regional Sales Consultant is responsible for driving both B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2C (Business-to-Consumer) sales within a designated region and supporting activities in other regions as required. This dynamic role involves building and maintaining relationships with businesses and individual clients, conducting community outreach to identify and generate new B2C opportunities, and achieving sales targets while representing the company’s values and commitment to quality service. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer for Convo Australia and will include responsibility for supporting the development and implementation of systems for collecting, analysing, verifying, and reporting information to meet the company’s sales objectives. Further, the Regional Sales Consultant will assist with developing strategic initiatives to support the company's overall Growth strategy, including cost-benefit analysis on investments required to implement these initiatives. The successful applicant will also work closely with other Regional Sales Consultants to coordinate strategic growth activities and with the Customer Service team to support the onboarding of new customers. In addition, customer retention initiatives will be a priority. This role will be based in Melbourne and/or Sydney, working from your own home, which requires reliable internet connectivity. Travel within the region will be necessary for client meetings and Deaf community events, with occasional evening or weekend commitments for outreach activities. Key Responsibilities Sales and Client Relationship Management:
- Identify and develop new B2B and B2C sales opportunities within the region, and support other regions as required.
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Develop customised client proposals presenting solutions that align with client needs, presenting them effectively to decision-makers.
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets.
Community Outreach
- Identify and participate in suitable Deaf community events, networking opportunities, and local engagements to promote the company’s services and identify potential B2C customers.
- Act as a brand ambassador in the Deaf community, fostering trust and goodwill.
- Collaborate with local organisations, businesses and stakeholders to expand reach and visibility, with specific focus on Deaf Ecosystem businesses and NDIS Support Coordinators.
Market Research And Analysis
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions within the region.
- Provide regular feedback and insights to the sales team, customer support team and management to refine strategies and offerings.
- Analyse sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Administrative And Reporting Duties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM system and all other relevant reports and data repositories.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and community outreach efforts.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of services to clients.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of regional B2B and B2C sales targets, and overall B2B and B2C sales targets.
- Number of new clients acquired (both B2B and B2C).
- Frequency and impact of community outreach activities.
- Client retention and satisfaction rates.
Essential Skills And Knowledge
- Proven experience in sales, with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
- Experience in Deaf community engagement and outreach.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software (eg. HubSpot) and basic office applications (eg. Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Collaboration and problem-solving in a remote team environment, and use of internal communication tools such as Slack and Google Meet to solve this.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within the region as needed.
Advantageous Additional Skills And Knowledge
- Knowledge of the local market, Deaf community and Deaf Ecosystem networks.
- Fluency in Auslan.
- Experience with NDIS and/or EAF funding schemes.
- Higher Education qualifications in business management, marketing, commerce or similar.
