We are looking for a passionate and driven Product Sales Specialist to support our revenue and customer growth objectives, specifically focusing on HCL Appscan solutions. This role offers you the chance to be a key player in shaping our sales strategy and driving the success of HCL Software’s security offerings.

Role Overview:

As a Product Sales Specialist for Appscan, you will act as a subject matter expert, supporting customer acquisition and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert and evangelist for Appscan, delivering high-quality presentations and workshops to clients, including Developers, Architects, IT Managers, and CxOs.
  • New Business Development: Build a new business sales pipeline, targeting high-value accounts to exceed acquisition and revenue goals.
  • Deal Coaching: Act as a coach and/or executive sponsor on complex deals, driving successful outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to create compelling, tailored proposals and solutions for customers.
  • Internal Coordination: Partner with internal support teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the sales process.
  • Partner Development: Develop technical sales capabilities with HCL Software partners to promote Appscan adoption.
  • Executive Engagement: Present and negotiate with Executive Leadership both internally and externally.
  • Sales Focus: Meet sales targets through a customer-first, solutions-focused approach.
  • Qualification Tools: Experience with sales qualification tools (e.g., MEDDPICC, BANT) to effectively qualify and prioritize opportunities.
  • Demo Capabilities: Deliver technical demos that showcase how Appscan meets customer needs.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: 5+ years of sales/pre-sales experience in the enterprise software industry, with a proven track record in selling Security Software solutions.
  • Sales Expertise: Executive-level selling experience and consultative selling capabilities, with a strong ability to understand customer pain points and align solutions.
  • Presentation Skills: Exceptional ability to deliver executive-level, value-based presentations.
  • Solution Knowledge: Strong understanding of the HCL Software portfolio and how to tailor solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Business Development: Demonstrated success in generating new business and developing long-term customer partnerships.
  • Competitive Awareness: Familiarity with competitive technologies (e.g., Veracode, Checkmarx, Opentext, Qualys) and their market positioning.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Dutch and English is required for collaboration with local customers.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives.
