Position Summary The Vice President, Commercial Sales is responsible for researching, developing, coordinating, directing, supporting, and executing FitOn Health’s business development strategy at the employer and partnership level. This position leverages industry and market insight to provide direction and guidance to meet and exceed Commercial Sales goals by expanding their individual pipeline as well as guiding sales representatives to achieve their individual goals. The Vice President of Commercial Sales leads and provides consultation on strategic growth and new revenue channels by identifying and evaluating business opportunities, developing business plans, and negotiating and closing deals that will enhance the overall effectiveness and fiscal viability of FitOn Health. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the organization’s employer and partnership growth strategies
- Collaborate with the leadership team and key contributors to launch, grow and enhance programs to meet the organization’s vision and strategic goals
- Develop effective external market surveillance mechanisms, maintaining up to date knowledge of corporate health and wellness trends
- Identify, evaluate, solicit, and follow-up with business development opportunities through multiple sales, communication, and marketing methods
- Ensure the organization stays current with market trends, anticipates market needs, proactively facilitates development of programs to maximize business growth opportunities and advises executive leadership of potential impact to the organization’s overall strategy and financial forecasts
- Lead and coordinate efforts to facilitate business plan development for new services working cross functionally across departments
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key leaders and team members to ensure initiatives and strategies are implemented and yield positive results
- Identify new partnership opportunities and provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of new accounts
- Work closely with Marketing to create promotional materials and campaigns while ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels
- Engage in speaking opportunities for industry leadership, ensuring FitOn Health maintains its market position as the best in class wellness product
- Manage a team of Sales Representatives and aid in their development as well as assist in meeting and exceeding their individual sales goals
Knowledge, Skills, And Other Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant business experience required, MBA preferred
- 10 years of demonstrated, proven success in a senior sale and business development roles; experience in a high growth company is preferred
- Experience managing a team of professionals in a remote environment is highly desired
- Strong understanding of enterprise growth in health and wellness
- Proficient understanding of sales software systems, such as Hubspot
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data and information while maintaining confidentiality
- Multitasking and being a team player

During the interview process, total compensation will be determined in alignment with market data, and the experience & capabilities of each candidate.
