Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager required to join a global, market-leading electrical engineering manufacturer

The Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager can be based anywhere in Netherlands working fully remote, focusing on generating new business opportunities, selling power quality products within the critical power industry, with an emphasis on Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS Systems) into industries including Data Centres, infrastructure and energy among others.

The Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will ideally have experience in technical sales and project-based selling within the electrical industry such as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS Systems), power quality, power distribution, battery management systems, power inverters, energy storage, static transfer systems (STS) , SNMP, transformers, generators, switchgear or similar within electrical engineering.

Fully Dutch speaking is essential.Package:

• €60,000-€73,000 per month depending on experience

Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales ManagerRole:

• Technical sales and project-based selling within the critical power industry, primarily focusing on uninterruptible power supplies (UPS Systems) and similar power quality products.
• Developing and growing existing relationships as well as driving business development selling uninterruptible power supplies (UPS Systems), and associated products.
• Achieving sales targets by maintaining new power quality service sales through demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations.
• Collaborating closely with the UPS Service Department to ensure a high standard of after-sales service.
• Liaising with various engineering departments.
• Covering the Netherlands region.

Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager Requirements:

• Experience as a Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, or a similar role selling engineered power and electrical solutions.
• Technical sales and project-based selling within the electrical industry such as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS Systems), power quality, power distribution, battery management systems, power inverters, energy storage, static transfer systems (STS) , SNMP, transformers, generators, switchgear or similar.
• Knowledge of the data centre industry and UPS Systems market is a plus.
• UPS Engineer or technical electrical engineer in the critical power sector looking for progression into sales are encouraged to apply.
• A technical electrical engineering qualification or degree is advantageous.
• Willingness to commute across Netherlands developing new business sales for Critical Power, UPS/STS products via prospecting and customer visits.
• Fully Dutch speaking is essential.
