Facade Design Director (Remote Working - Site visits required)Full Time, Permanent£Up to £85,000 p.a (DOE)

Our client is a leading façade contractor in the UK that design and install a variety of systems. They have the ability to handle a full building envelope as well as the full project cycle from initial design to installation, working with their team of specialist project managers to ensure a quality finish.

Their excellent reputation has seen their growth rate rapidly continue year on year with more and more projects being secured recently, where they are now growing their existing team to support their continued work.

Due to this growth, a Facade Design Director is required to work closely with other directors as an integral part of the business.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering a wide range of prestigious multi-million pound projects across the industrial, commercial, and residential industries. The ideal applicant must have experience producing detailed drawings for a variety of different façade systems.

This is a remote working role with the requirement of site visits so driving license will be required.What’s involved for the Façade Design Director...

• Produce detailed CAD drawings for construction teams
• Investigate technical issues and provide prompt, viable solutions
• Manage a small design subcontractor team
• Produce layouts, technical reports and working drawings to agreed timescales
• Attend site project meetings
• Review drawings
• Assisting with tender stage

What you’ll need…

• Façade or building envelope design experience
• Professional qualifications in Structural, Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
• Experience managing a design team
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit
• Experience working on commercial projects and residential projects
• Ability to deal directly with clients, consultants, and fellow team members
• Revit experience beneficial but not essential
