Startup Manager

PeakTew is a social media app aiming to connect more people with the real world. Our team consists of passionate individuals from over a dozen different countries. This offer is aimed at those willing to **take part in a startup** project **during their free time** to learn more about the professional world and gain international work experience. This implies being ready to commit some time **every week** to the project. 

As a **Financial Officer**, you will play a key role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, optimizing resources, and supporting sustainable growth.

**Your missions:**

● Oversee financial strategy, ensuring profitability, sustainability, and growth.

● Manage full-cycle financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow, and forecasting.

● Safeguard tax compliance, regulatory adherence, and risk management 

(U.S. tax regulations, financial laws, and corporate governance standards)

● Optimize cost structures, monitor key financial metrics, and drive efficiency.

# Junior Financial Officer

The Full Stack Developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the Your Staff Hub software, ensuring that it is delivered on time, on budget and in accordance with requirements. **Key Responsibilities**

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) are: 

1.  Design, develop and test the Your Staff Hub software from specifications which are supplied or self-generated.  
2.  Maintain existing software to ensure it continues to be stable, robust and secure. 
3.  Implement and manage APIs, working with frontend developers to ensure the UI is seamlessly hooked up. 
4.  Develop and optimise backend services ensuring that data flow is efficient.

6.  Identify and address complex issues as they occur. 
7.  Create and maintain technical documentation.

**Skills Required**

It is expected that you will have the following skills and capabilities:

1.  Proficiency in development using Next.js, React, Apollo GraphQL. 
2.  Expertise in object relational database design using Postgresql and typeORM. 
3.  Experienced in preparing documentation throughout development. 
4.  Experience working within an agile environment and developing within sprints.

**What We Are Looking For**

*   Proven professional experience as a Backend Engineer using Go.
*   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
*   Demonstrated experience with building services on top of Kubernetes.
*   Solid knowledge of scalable web service development, including RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
*   Proficiency in database management, with hands-on experience in optimizing database performance, designing schemas, and query optimization.
*   Experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM, and experience with Kubevirt specifically would be a plus.
*   Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver high-quality code in a fast-paced environment.
*   Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools to optimize system performance.
*   Familiarity with managing infrastructure on AWS.
*   Solid understanding of version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/delivery.
*   Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
