Digital Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the MG Media Creative team to ensure the success of clients and campaigns. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and a collaborative mindset. While primarily a supportive role and not client facing, the Marketing Assistant is fully accountable for the tasks they are assigned, making reliability and ownership key to success.

This role involves content coordination, sourcing external creators, and providing general marketing support. As the position evolves, there will be opportunities to expand responsibilities based on demonstrated skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities1. Client Support

• Assist with the overall success of client campaigns and projects.
• Organize and maintain spreadsheets to track tasks, projects, and results.
• Provide general marketing support to ensure smooth operations.

2. Content Coordination

• Content Oversight
• Manage the production process with both internal and external creators to ensure timely delivery of assigned content.
• Provide initial feedback and perform quality checks to ensure all content aligns with MG Media Creative's standards before submission to clients.
• Content Strategy Support
• Collaborate with the team to align content ideas with client goals and overall marketing strategies.
• Assist in preparing monthly content plans for client approval, ensuring alignment with objectives.
• Quality Assurance
• Review all content submissions to ensure they reflect creativity, quality, and alignment with MG Media Creative’s goals.
• Take ownership of content readiness by ensuring it is client-ready and meets deadlines.
• Proactive Problem-Solving
• Step in to directly create or revise content if external creators fail to meet deadlines, ensuring the project stays on track.
• Relationship Building
• Foster strong relationships with creators and team members to streamline collaboration and maintain a high standard of content delivery.

3. Content Creation

• Use light video editing and design skills to create visually engaging and dynamic content for clients.
• Develop marketing materials with a clear understanding of what makes a compelling hook and effective marketing piece.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends to craft content that resonates with target audiences across various platforms.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure all content is consistent with the brand’s voice and marketing goals.

4. Sourcing Talent Support

• Assist in sourcing new external creators to meet evolving client needs.
• Identify and evaluate potential talent for projects (e.g., influencers), ensuring alignment with MG Media Creative’s standards and goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with creators to expand the company’s network of talent.

5. Task Management

• Complete additional tasks as needed with a focus on prioritization and effective multitasking.
• Stay on top of monthly recurring tasks such as preparing spreadsheets and client meeting materials.
